Our Day-to-Day

We've been very busy the past month as the winter winds & rains have begun to sweep through the country, bringing in some very cold days for us. So we've pulled out all the winter clothes and have been layering up to take on the cold weather. With the change of weather has come an almost domino effect of colds & flu-like symptoms & sinus irritations affecting almost everyone around here, including Eric & I. Eric is getting over his sickness. I started feeling feverish with back aches this past Wednesday & still haven't quite shaken it. Fortunately, the past few days have been relatively low-key so I have been able to rest quite a bit which really helps in getting over sickness.

Our typical week usually looks a bit like this:
Monday-
8:30- Community Discipleship (Eric, me & Josh)
10-1:40, Teach English/Music in the village
Arrive back to J'lem in time to help out with the last of Boys' Bible Study
Tuesday-
7am-5:30pm, Eric & I teach English to college professors in Nablus (1 1/2-2 hr drive)
Arrive back to J'lem in time to help take girls home from Girls' Bible Study
7pm, I go to Ladies' Bible Study
Wednesday-
8:30- Community Discipleship (Eric, me & Josh)
10-1:40, Teach English/Music in the village
Help with prep for Bible Study- food, cleaning
7pm- Bible Study
Thursday-
As of late, mornings have consisted of meetings of different sorts
2-11pm - Beit Jalla youth Bible studies
Friday-
REST
Saturday-
10 or 11- Community Discipleship (The pastor, Eric, me & Josh)
Help with prep for night Service (moved from Sun morning)- food, cleaning
Sunday-
Land Day when there aren't basketball games out of town for the pastor to coach

This is just the general structure of how the week goes for us. Though, it seems things alter slightly every week. On top of these things we still make time for laundry, grocery shopping & grading homework papers.

We're hoping to get our November Newsletter sent out in the next few days, but here is a heads-up on things to pray for us about:

1) Visas- we are currently awaiting word about when our appointment to renew will be.
2) Finances- We praise God for His faithfulness to provide all that we have needed!
a. We would like to have a little extra for Christmas gifts this year.
b. We still owe $300 on our car.
c. We have endless debt in school loans & credit cards we pay on monthly.
3) Health- I and several people here still are sick. Please pray for the headmistress in the village where we teach- she's very sick.

Thank you for all your prayers & support! We really appreciate all you do for us to lift us up in prayer & encouragement. We would love to hear from you & know any needs you would like for us to pray about. We love you!
